Step 1. Identify where the metal disc is located in the hand warmer and firmly grasp it with your thumbs. Step 2. Youll notice that the disc bluges to one side, and has a slight pocket on the other. Snap the Disc inward towards the pocket. Step 3. Massage the hand warmer as the chain reaction takes place. Step 4. Enjoy the heat. (The first few times you activate the hand warmer, the metal disc may be a little stubborn. But as you continue to use and reuse the hand warmer it becomes easier and more malleable) How to reset. Step 1. Place water in a sauce pan or cooking pot over the stove. Step 2. Once the water starts boiling, place the hand warmers in the water. Step 3. Wait for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the crystals have dissolved. Step 4. Remove the hand warmers and let them cool completely before reactivating. (DO NOT MICROWAVE.
